First of all I would like to say a massive big THANK YOU to whoever has had the inititive to start this Forum. I am very happy to be here, and I will do my very best to be active here.
Now on to a very, very important issue :
Patients will be ignored over privacy of records http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/12/03/nhs03.xml
Everyone needs to join No2ID`s OPT OUT Campaign.
Please take a visit here :
TheBigOptOut letter vs. DH ‘advice’ http://www.nhsconfidentiality.org/?page_id=23
They provide a letter for you online (pdf or Microsoft Word doc) which you can print off for your GP (or you could simply do your own)
You have the RIGHT to OPT OUT of this latest government scheme.
Please remember that YOUR Medical Records are PRIVATE.
Government plans will break the Data Protection Act.
The NO2ID Organisation is also running a campaign across the U.K. against government I.D.Cards.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day & may it be safe & peaceful wherever you are.
