I thought he really made the film 'Brassed Off', he was one of the best actors in it. I am very sad to hear that he has died.

He was excellent in both brassed off and in the name of the father,a great actor.Reading some of the tributes on the bbc it looks like he was a decent man

Was really sad to hear of this today...he was a fine actor.
A local (to him) brewer named an ale after him a few years ago....  |
