Mark, they do NOT say 88T91 (88-tee-91)


And Mark, I think you miss the point.

88291 is a play on the frequency range, and when spoken you say 88 to 91 FM

So what they are saying is 88 to 91 or when said quickly it's 88 t' 91

John, I don't put 88 to 91 as the text number. It's 88291 then write the message and send.....................

I've never heard of anyone having a problem in texting Radio 2 so quite frankly I do not see the point of this thread

We are now in the age where different regional accents are allowed rather than standard Queens English so obviously there will be some minor variations in how individual presenters read out the number

As John says its obviously a play on the frequency range and I think anyone with half a brain could work that one out
