Susannah York has died aged 72. Nothing on the BBC yet (again). The object of many a young man's fantasy. Sadly missed

The BBC website is getting worse. Perhaps it has something to do with the drastic cuts to the BBC Online service, but it doesn't look good. On the occasion of Pete Postlethwaite's death, not only did we see the story on other new sites but they already been indexed by Google yet nothing on the BBC's news pages.

It happened a week after Jarvis Cocker played the theme from The Killing Of Sister George to commemorate her birthday on January 9.

They Shoot Horses, Don't They (the film)has also been mentioned on other sources.
