Bravo for Charlie Brooker's Newswipe getting an award! And he thanked Sky News - Adam Boulton became an unintentional terrestrial star due to the spat with Alistair Campbell!
The way some of the gutter press had it, you'd think it was only Miranda getting a gong that mattered. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I didn't see the awards as was unusually out, but like you am glad Brooker got some recognition.
I'm a huge fan and have been for some time his piece in the Guardian about the Eastenders story is so spot on.
Also a bit spoilt at the moment he is on the new 10o'clock show on Thursday night which has the potential of being a great show and he was on last night about How TV has scared us.
And I'll post this as it makes me larrrffff _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

I was very pleased that Miranda did so well. I was dubious about her programme at first but soon took to her. I like the way she looks straight at the camera, like Eric Morecambe and Ollie Hardy used to do. She was interviewed on The Breakfast Show the other day and came across as very likeable. |
