I've seen it before. An excellent documentary, though the subtitling was a bit off (e.g.'Decker' for Decca Records). _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Very good prog. I enjoyed that & the one that followed on Fleetwood Mac mark 2.
re Peter Green, the moral of the story is- if you are met at Munich airport by two hippies inviting you back to their commune RUN LIKE HELL!
As to later version of Fleetwood Mac, I thought Lindsey Buckingham came over as a prat. He looked awful , too.
Stevie Nicks, on the other hand, came across well & still looks good!
A good evenings viewing, as was the previous weeks one on Mark knopfler
I was out when knopfler was on but saw it on the i player. Excelent |

I've seen that doc before, but very good it is. I saw Peter Green's Splinter Group play in the Jim Marshall Auditorium at The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes a few years back and although he's musically still very good he's a shadow of his former self, with most of the work being done by the members of his band. |

compared with the doc that was made when he'd just come back from his hiatus he seemed much more together.
"what were you thinking of when you wrote Albatoss?"
"I was copying Eric Clapton"
Only 2 years and 8 months was he in FM and still the best of the lot _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

He's not the best today. I saw him with his Splinter Group about 4 or 5 years ago at The Stables in Wavendon, Milton Keynes, and in guitar-playing terms he'd lost all the old late-60s sparkle. His sideman was doing most of the work.
Still a very good gig, though. |
