I used to catch bits of the Sat morning show 5-6 but not for several weeks.
Has the show bedded in completely or is it still early days on both weekend slots?

The title of the thread is very scary. I thought you were marketing weekends away with Pete Mitchell! Only for the brave. A supply of prozac is essential before getting on the coach on Friday evening.

I remember Old scotty saying PM was the future of Radio 2.
Not in my book.
He can do the job but then again you could pick 10 ILR presenters who would be just the same.
I certainly don't switch off when he is on but i don't rant and rave if i miss his shows.
There again we could be discussing Mo Dutta who compliments PM very well.
Just imagine if both were on 12 hours later than they are!!!!! Mad

Mitchell is perfect in his role as warm up man for Mo Dutta. You dont want to get too excited before Mo whips us up to a frenzy.

Judging by those webcam pictures on the other thread Mo and his sidekick seem happy together.
Maybe they should be a double act like Rossy and Andy Davies.
Then again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They already do - the only problem is the other guy can never get a word in!

I wonder if Pete will be let out in daylight again after his very wooden performance covering for Steve Wright at New Years.

At least he achieved the virtually impossible of having people welcome Steve Wright's return.

I fail to understand why generic dullards like Pete 'the plank' Mitchell get used over real radio talent like D. Baker!

Come on Lesley. What with that and axing Your Hundred Best Tunes, you're well on the way to winning the Frances Line Award for crap controllering.
