On 6 Music

Listening to this, with a smile on my face, Very Happy ..makes me realise what a sad loss he was to the radio.

I read online the BBC is developing a drama about his life....

I suggest Chris Addison to portray the younger Ken - on some Have I Got News For You episodes repeated on Dave he had the sideburns to match his, and he's skinny enough.

Wonderful programme. You could hear the reverence and awe in Steve Wright's voice.

As you say, Becky, a great loss to radio.

I loved the 'Sing Along With the Beatles' bit! It's amazing that Paul Gambaccini said that Everett was a pioneer of karaoke.

Would Everett have been programming classical music bits before Alan Freeman made jingles out of relevent bits on his Saturday show?
