On 6 Music
Listening to this, with a smile on my face, ..makes me realise what a sad loss he was to the radio.
I read online the BBC is developing a drama about his life....

I suggest Chris Addison to portray the younger Ken - on some Have I Got News For You episodes repeated on Dave he had the sideburns to match his, and he's skinny enough. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Wonderful programme. You could hear the reverence and awe in Steve Wright's voice.
As you say, Becky, a great loss to radio. |

I loved the 'Sing Along With the Beatles' bit! It's amazing that Paul Gambaccini said that Everett was a pioneer of karaoke.
Would Everett have been programming classical music bits before Alan Freeman made jingles out of relevent bits on his Saturday show? _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
