If these pressure groups and health freaks had their way we'd basically starve to death.

You're doing it again - you're missing the point - whilst simultaneously supporting the opposing argument. Yes, of course MacDonalds is successful...... Rolling Eyes

So Matthew let me just get this right

You are saying you'd starve to death if you didn't get a McDonalds meal

I don't think I've ever heard anything so ridiculous

MC: Good evening. I'd like to have an argument, please.
RR: Certainly, sir. Have you been here before?
MC: No, this is my first time.
RR: Are you sure about that?

I'm happy to. If you look back you'll see that your defence of Evans and Ball is based on the simple fact that they're "popular" and listened-to by millions. Fair enough. My analogy is that MacDonalds is also popular and enjoyed by millions........ but it's hardly cordon bleu.

I don't ever spend money on the crap that MacDonalds serves up and nor do I listen to the insufferable Evans. Even if they're "popular".

You're the one who has major issues with Evans and Ball, not me. I have not doubted the popularity of X Factor, or its predecessor Pop Idol. Some great acts have been discovered, like Susan Boyle.

45 posts in less than 2 hours

Most of my postings have been in response to Colin's. I didn't realise you were keeping a scorecard.

You think it's odd that someone is posting on an internet forum? Question

Nope. You're the only person I have debated with on here this evening. Each time I have posted something, you've responded, hence the high post count. Not that I have to justify my presence on this site.

Matthew judging from the comments tonight I don't think you're exactly flavour of the month on here but you have the right to say what you like just like everyone else here

Quite frankly I think you're going to get a very hard time on this forum if you insist on staying here but at the end of the day it's your choice

"Flavour of the month"? Just because we have had a run-in already?

I don't see why I should leave this site just because my face doesn't fit.

I've been reading this site for some time now and soon as Evans, Ball, Wright or Feltz are praised on here, all hell breaks loose. People have just as much right to defend them as well as those who often slag them off at every given opportunity.

Matthew. You're probably wasting your time on those 2, no matter what the subject is, they'll soon turn it into an anti Chris Evans rant. They've made it clear they don't like him but they still keep banging on about him s if we weren't aware of the fact.....
