If anyone is'nt familiar with this young boy. He's apparently a global RnB music superstar, and from Canada.

I'm sure he should be either at School or College. With the appearance on Daybreak ( Monday ) - he seemed to be a little thick, and knows nothing about life or the world. Or he may just be uncomfortable appearing on TV.
Luckly enough he wasn't eating a sandwich as he was whilst Fearne Cotton was interviewing him sometime ago. Funny enough he said " That he had an healthy Mcdonalds breakfast" Maybe he could advertise Big Macs, if his music career ends. ( Other brands are available. ) |

He's just another product that needs developing, packaging and marketing - much like the MacDonald's junk food to which you refer. They're both part of an exact same process, and are designed to be consumed in massive quantities by a gullible public that is more than happy to part with money in return for the latest "must -have" consumer item. Such products actually come from factories that are tooled up to churn out this stuff; Simon Cowell owns one such factory and has become hugely successful simply because he's a master of product development and marketing.
That's the name of the game these days, and these (relatively) unregulated broadcasting networks are all complicit in this process. |

Very good summary, Colin. A product does sometimes have a sell buy date on. |

I saw him on Graham Norton and to me he comes across as a cocky little so and so and he's only 16. I dread to think what he'll be like in a few years' time. As someone else already said, I don't think he's the brightest spark in the box either. He got lucky, very lucky from what I've seen and heard of him.
Amazing really how average talent can be packaged up in such a way it becomes a multi-million pound commodity.
My 15 daughter tells me there's a boyband on the X factor that she and all her friends call The Biebers - as they are like five clones of him. Doubtless Scowell will make a mint out of them. |

I first heard one of his songs in a comedy show, and was shocked to discover it was a real record! Having mostly escaped my attention I assume his records are made of noises that can only be heard by dogs and teenage girls. |

I'd like to see the little tyke's reaction to my boss's rant against McDonald's which happened at a storytelling workshop recently!
Admittedly her blood sugar levels were down at the time, but she ranted about how they destroyed valuable land and all that.
I won't be passing her a link on to the 'Mac Tonight!' ad on YouTube (mentioned in Song Stories 'Mack The Knife' episode). _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
