As another website passed a link on, I listened to this.

It was at the point when Bacon started talking to Chris Moyles and Simon Mayo re:Comic Relief that Bailey started moaning on air and playing kazoo.

In a way I could see his point, but surely he could have gone out of the room to the toilet to seethe quietly?

He was on to promote the film 'Chalet Girl'. I'm not expecting it to be the cinematic highlight of 2011, rather just another British movie that'll come and go.

As someone who listens to that show regularly, the way it works is that there's usually a crossover when one interview ends and the next interviewee comes in. With Bill, he came in at the end of one interview where Bacon started wittering about radio/twitter matters, then only got a couple of minutes before Moyles & Mayo were in to also talk about radio/twitter matters.

So Bill was simply waiting for his own actual interview!

It is a sad fact that every Richard Bacon interview involves a disagreement (at best) and a self-indulgent discussion about radio and twitter. Well done Bill Bailey for calling him on it.

Richard Bacon is a knob - of which there are many on radio today.

Thanks, Ian, thanks, Colin! Bacon did seem to be rushing Bailey to get to Chris Moyles and Emma Freud.
