I would imagine that only Johnnie Walker and Bob Harris have ever heard of Stackridge at Radio 2. Sad really. |

That's slightly unfair. Given that they failed to trouble the scorers with any chart success, LP or singles, you couldn't expect anyone other than ageing folk/rock fans like ourselves, JW/BH or some of the occupants of MV Ross Revenge to know or remember them.
It's a bit like jazz or country fans expecting all presenters to know about the Turtle Island String Quartet or Patricia Conroy
(I think that Hold Me Tight is the one track the members of Stackridge would rather radio wouldn't play)
