Very sad news indeed and I was really pleased to hear Jeremy Vine opening his show today with one of X Ray Spex greatest tracks 'Germ Free Adolescents' by way of a tribute

I just wish that the band's music was played more often on radio as the vocal performance is just so groundbreaking and distinctive

So sad that such a talented performer should pass away so young Sad

A really decent tribute on Channel 4 News tonight including Tom Robinson reminiscing about when they both did a 'Rock against Racism' gig in the late 70s

Apparently a new album was released only a month ago including a track she wrote about on line relationships where people 'know' each other without ever meeting

I'll expect Radcliffe & Maconie to play 'Identity' then. Stuart's already played 'Warrior In Woolworths' on the Freak Zone.

I just played my copy of "Oh Bondage, Up Yours" in tribute.... Sad

I do like "Identity", "Genetic Engineering" and "I Am A Cliche".... they don't make them like that any more.
