Did you all have a Radio 2 Bank Holiday (s)? Or was the weather so good you all took to the warm countryside?

I have not been in UK for a month. I did not miss Rdaio 2 which has surprised me. But it has dumbed down so much that I have moved on to other stations. When I am away I used the computer for the radio always in the back ground, but I found it so easy to forget Radio 2. A bit sad, as I was brought up with Radio 2.

But the good news is I have another new grand daughter making it two. She was born at home in Amsterdam on 8 April and as any grand mother would say.......so beautiful

I spent the whole weekend gardening although I did take time out to watch the actual Royal Wedding ceremony as I felt it was an important historical event for my two sons who will probably see Prince William (or should I say the Duke of Cambridge as we must call him now) becoming King in their lifetimes although I doubt I will in mine

I only really listened to the usual things I listen to on Radio 2 at weekends like SOTS, POTP, etc but I'm quite looking forward to the Top 40 One Hit Wonders presented by TB this afternoon

Come tomorrow I'll probably be asking myself why I didn't do something more exciting with all the wonderful weather but apparently the forecast is good for the rest of the week so perhaps it's better to get out and about when things are quieter
