Closer than the Moon. I hope it's not cloudy that night.
They'd only have to have miscalculated by a gnats nadger, and this thing is going to hit us..... probably quite hard: of course, they wouldn't tell us if it was going to hit us...cos we'd all take out very large loans and then go on holiday for evermore. On the night we'll all be out watching it go past while, listening to this....

then kaboom! It was nice knowing you!
But don't panic- a few years ago hubby bought me the entire world and an inflatable spare! So if all goes pear shaped we can use that.
Now where did I put my tin hat? |

Nice of them to let us know, though.
If it crashes into earth the impact would be equivalent to 65,000 atomic bombs, while the crater would be six miles wide and 2,000 ft deep.
The Japanese earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster are like pinpricks in comparison. Let's hope that gnat's nadger is looking in the other direction.
I like the comment from "Micheal" _________________ Ron |

yes I liked that too: although a more serious comment further down, what if it hits the Moon? |
