I thought it was 100 times better that the old WW format and was quite nice to listen to. His style of presenting is far more suited to a studio, the radio theatre live show thing just didn't do it for me. |

I didn't realise they'd gone back to studio format. I'll try to listen to this series - I'd stopped bothering (as with much of R2) because the theatre audience presentation felt all wrong to me. He sounded self-conscious and uncomfortable, and there always seemed to be some technical issue to spoil the flow. _________________ Minx

Wogan's at his best when he's bantering with his audience, picking the best from the emails and texts coming in. However, his interviews can be car-crash radio when the interviewee doesn't know him and his sense of humour. And he can be soooo fawning, too. How I cringed yesterday during his interview with Asa.
His interview with Lulu was better, but could have done without him flirting with her. I can understand why, mind you, but even so...

I had to turn off because of that idiot Dedicoate. He gets everywhere on the BBC like an unwanted kid at a Birthday Party. Can't we have Boggy back? _________________ MiS |

It seems there are two Weekend Wogans with one extra over the next few Bank Holiday Mondays - 2-4pm. I wonder if this will be the norm? |

Well I've enjoyed Wogan being on the Bank Holiday Monday shows.
