Yes, how many other criminals behind bars will read that and think they may have a case for release.

It says, for his children, 'He will provide some stability which I think they really need' yet he wasn't providing that when he was committing burglary; he was putting their 'human rights' at risk by committing a crime that he wouldn't get away with.

Call me cynical but I think this is simply an exercise in saving money with total disregard to the public interest

It costs lots of money to keep someone in prison and I expect it costs money to have their children looked after during their term of incarceration

The Lord Chancellor/Secretary of State for Justice issues directions to judges including those in the Court of Appeal and it's a well known fact that he wants to reduce the prison population to avoid the vast cost of having to build new prisons

At the end of the day like most things in life it all comes down to money with the interests of justice taking very much a back seat

Hopefully Social services keeping an eye on him and the children. Obviously a good father and wants to care for his children and saves them going into care, but Just proves that crime pays and the law is on the side of the criminal. Dread to think what that criminal is teaching those children. Apparently the mother isn't around, and his sister was looking after them whilst he was behind bars.
