the link is too long so

How much do you think an avid fan would be willing to pay for a signed copy of Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanagan's album 'Ballad of the Broken Seas' on ebay?

I have a similar problem to Julia. Have a 1st edition Marc Bolan "Warlock of Love", which I have seen on ebay for £50 to £300 (latter autographed tho')
I wouldn't have a clue as to how much to start bidding at. Its all very well to buy or sell if you know what you are doing.

Julia/Iknew,

Try and look on Amazon marketplace or abebooks for the prices currently being asked, then check the condition/publisher/edition you have. I sell 2nd hand books, CDs and DVDs on Amazon (I'm listed under "Border-Country-Books") and use it and a few other sites to gauge the worth of titles, plus those I'm buying. You could even sell it on Amazon but you'd have to register as a seller first - although that's not too difficult.

If it's a reprint by say Book Club Associates or one of the remaindering houses (such as e.g. Wrens Park) you'll get next to nothing unless you can find a mug willing to pay for that rather than the 'proper' publisher.

Iknew - check out the sellers for Mark Bolan here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0901563005/sr=1-1/qid=1170692468/ref=sr_1_olp_1/203-9050860-9906344?ie=UTF8&s=books

That'll give you some idea of condition/price.

Julia - try this link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_b/203-9050860-9906344?url=search-alias%3Dpopular&field-keywords=Ballad+of+the+Broken+Seas&Go.x=11&Go.y=9

Hope the above helps - any other questions, drop me a PM (or not!)....
