Rules doubling the amount of passenger duty people pay when taking flights from the UK have come into force.

Yes, Mark - unless you're travelling with BA who are apparently absorbing the rise themselves, the airlines are charging the extra amounts (even for people who booked prior to the increase) via their credit cards or at the check-in desk in the case of some lo-cost carriers.

I booked through a travel agent for a package holiday. I must watch for the moths.  |
