How strange, I hope it will work for me.

If only they could make one that will record and get the internet too, I would jump at that. In the meantime I have a basic Roberts cassette radio that can be programmed to record. So for £30 it gives me something to listen to first thing, not sure about the new presenter though but that's for another thread!

I've managed to get my internet radio back up running so haven't ordered the Roberts as yet, but I'm thinking about it!

While I was looking for help for my problem I came across this site that may be of interest to you a they have a forum for Roberts internet radios.

Wow.. Thanks Helen.. I didn't imagine there was such a site! I've saved it to my favourites and will read it all eventually.. I've already discovered that you can download new upgrades from one thread and, reading the blurb, it will rectify a problem my older unit has.. it "resets" itself at random.. apparently, it only happens to a few units and I must have one of them! Laughing

Don't know what's happened to SanteFefan but yesterday a I bought the Roberts i83 stream internet/FM/DAB radio that we were talking about above and so far it's fantastic!

My other Accoustic Energy internet one gave up the ghost and would cost £100 to repair. It's 6 years old so not even thinkable.

I wish I'd got it months ago now!
