Press office has said:

Fabulous 30 years of Desmond, though not quite all that time as The Music Goes Round, it was All Time Greats until September 2004, though the report does say so later.

I think there's a slight error in that press office quote. While Desmond may have been with Radio 2 for 30 years (well done to him!) Music Goes Around has only been on for a few years, when Desmond was moved from Sundays to Tuesday evenings and losing two hours in the process. His Sunday show was called All Time Greats wasn't it?
