Anyone enjoying this show ?

I've tried to listen but I just give up. It's all trivial items such as texting in for this and that, and wittering in about trying to watch X-factor Rolling Eyes

I have tried several times but it's so deathly dull. The music is generally downbeat, repetitive or far too achingly cool, while Whiley herself just has absolutely no charisma at all. It might work later at night on 6Music but for 8pm on a weekday it doesn't at all.

You know the show is dying when it takes Listen To The Band to freshen things up!

The show is enjoyable for those studen who study at night and those who enjoy modern music. The show does cater for those younger listeners, remembering there's a choice radio is aiming to provide. ( maybe the grips section would have been the ideal place for this thread) Wink

But not remotely in the same league as the previous show, which also well-served students and fans of modern music. In fact, I've gone to other lengths and now listen to Radio 3 while working in the evenings - at least you're guaranteed not to hear a DJ's drivel between the music!

I didn't even know we had a 'grips' section

Shouldn't wrestling be covered by the Sports Bar? Smile

It's not the 'modern' music, it's the other stuff in between Rolling Eyes
