Mark - I know I've been criticised for making such comments before, but I can't resist it once more: is your sole objective in life to repost BBC press announcements?
When they relate to the activities of Radio 2 personnel, fair enough, but this "news" has already been plastered all over BBC outlets since 7.00pm yesterday (on The One Show) and if others are anything like me they're already sick of the whole hyped-up charade.
I'm not anti "Strictly" at all - at least participation in the show requires considerable commitment and skill - but I find the media saturation surrounding such shows to be intensely annoying. In its defence, I would love to see a show pummel anything created by Simon Cowell into the ground. Given the gullibility of UK audiences, pigs will fly sooner, no doubt. |

Holly Valance, formerly in 'Neighbours' and who charted with 'Kiss Kiss'.
I heard Jem Godfrey, now of Frost*, produced her when he was a pop hack churning out stuff for Atomic Kitten and Ronan Keating. I wonder if it'll be his feet in close-up? _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I've always assumed that the results show which we see on Sundays is in fact recorded after the main show on Saturdays. Am I right? Does anyone know?
And if so, how do they stop people from the audience giving the game away during Sundays? _________________ Minx

It is as you say Minx. Much preferred it when results were on Saturday night. _________________ MiS |

I think it is too. Have a check on I-player of the two shows and you may notice that only Tess Daley is in a different outfit. The audience are wearing the same clothes on both shows! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Yep, it's all recorded on a Saturday night, and it does leak out. I knew who went out this weekend early on Sunday morning - and I don't even watch the show!
They do this for financial and practical reasons - the studio is used for other shows during the week so has to be struck down on the Sunday. |

Yes, that's the technical term for taking a set down. |

Couldn't see why Chelsee ( ) threw a wobbly over her dress malfunction. She'd had the top half of them bouncing around all night, what was so dramatic about the bottom half popping out too?? _________________ Minx

Totally agree Minx. I can't warm to any of them this year, usually there's one or two I root for but couldn't care less who wins! As long as it's not R Savage _________________ MiS |

Wonder how they'll stop the resuts leaking with so many in the audience tonight? _________________ Minx

I know this is old news now but initially, I agreed with MiS about this year's line up but toward's the end, I really warmed to Harry, Holly and... even Jason!
I say that because I'd never really taken to Jason Donovan in the past.. but over the weeks he came across as a pretty likeable fellow genuinely enjoying his progression in dancing skills.
Fascinated by the ultra cool Holly, she was the one I voted for on occasion but without a doubt the best contestant won.
Harry outshone them all, simply an amazing display of talent and again, such a likeable character for a young 'un.
I wouldn't agree it was the best series so far but superb entertainment and I can't wait for the next one with Sir Bruce at the helm! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

I totally agree about Harry,Santa...he was a delight to watch and I looked forward to his dances each week....he had a lovely way with him, too.
I voted once for Holly as I thought she really deserved to stay in longer than some of the others but Harry got my vote for the final and I was so pleased, for him, that he won. |
