I went to see it last night. It was such a delightful film beautifully acted by all concerned especially the three leads - hero, heroine and dog.

I read in the paper today that some people who went to see this film demanded their money back because there was no sound dialogue!

How sad! It is such a beautiful film but perhaps beyond the comprehension of cinemagoers used to crashing soundtracks, spectacular special effects etc.

Caught up with this recently ..... I enjoyed it but didn't think it lived up to the hype surrounding it on it's release.....a rather sweet if somewhat lightweight film.

Watched this last night (it is available on iPlayer for the next few days).

What a clever, brave, interesting film!

I watched it again and loved it again. The two leads are so near to being OTT but I found both of them utterly charming and irresistible.
