Apparently the show is running for 2 hours from 1-3pm with POTP from 3pm. Seems the Beeb mixed up the launch of their new Sunday schedule.

It's nice when things go to plan. Elaine is in concert so thats why she's taking a break.

From the trails, I think it could be quite good. I'm away this weekend so will miss it though.

I'll also be away this Sunday so I'll have to listen again next week. I didn't hear the trail yet. Never heard of the two musicals he's featuring. Should be interesting Confused

Paul is a VAST improvement on the dreadful Paige ......... the programme is now a pleasure to listen to without Paige's awful presentation skills, grating voice and abysmal chuckling 'laugh'!

How long is she doing the musical for? Long may it last and I hope she never returns to 'grace' the Radio 2 airwaves.

Paul really is perfect for this programme.

The network should give him his own show. Maybe he could replace the comedy hour?

Sounds like a good plan to me.

BTW, I hear that the dreadful John Barrowman is sitting in next week ........ bah!

Paul perfect for this show? Ugh!! His voice for some reason is hard for me to listen to. I think Barrowman will be annoying as well! I'm sure EP's return to the stage will end her radio career--all of you who hate her will no doubt rejoice. Mad Oh well--on to bigger and better things where she can be more respected.

I think Paige is an excellent singer but she is an abysmal radio presenter and has a most irritating style, voice and laugh.

Still, each to his/her own I guess. Smile

Yep - I thought Paul O'Grady was excellent as well. Shame he isn't staying in the slot.

I like Elaine and am not a great fan of Paul's, HOWEVER.....
Last sunday, after an irritating BBC advertisement for buying your TV licence at the local all-night abbatoir, he blew his lid and slagged off the government's policy of taking away various duties from Post Offices, thereby precipitating their closure. Now, did I enjoy that. Well done, Paul. Wink

The big brother ad's as Sarah calls them. They are extremely annoying & menacing.

I hope Barrowman plays the Torchwood theme! But no doubt he'll just play his stuff from Sunset, and go on about Cole Porter. Let's hope he's not too rude.
