There's actually 2 but the most recent was last added to almost a year ago. Are we now supposed to trawl back through all the discussions of the last year or more before starting a new discussion on the off-chance that there may be something with a similar title already there??? |

Shaky - I'm pleased to see you're being your usual friendly self trying to stir up an argument where none exists
I was simply trying to be helpful to the initial poster and I'm sure as he's a reasonable person, apparently unlike you, he will accept the advice in the spirit in which is was intended _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I was simply trying to be helpful by pointing out that the thread om question was almost a year old
So it's being helpful when you do it but trying to start an argument when I do it??? |

Shaky - there was absolutely no call at all for your original comments
I don't particularly like the fact that you seem to be in the habit of poking fun at the wrong spelling or incorrect grammar of certain people on this forum but I don't go diving in trying to start an argument when I read your comments
Rather ironically only the other day you were making fun of the very same person who initiated this thread when he placed an apostrophe in the wrong place on his thread about selling CDs (now have I got that right?)
Perhaps you've been watching a certain Monty Python sketch rather too often _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Why not? I was simply pointing out that there was nothing wrong with the original post AS THE ONE YOU REFERRED TO IS ALMOST A YEAR OLD. As I asked.... are we now supposed to go searching through the entire forum before posting anything in future? I wasn't starting an argument, just making a point! If anyone "started" an argument here it was you.

I'm in the habit of poking fun??? I don't think so! Occasionally I'll say something if I see something that doesn't look right but it's not something I go on and on about - compare that to your constant moaning about a certain breakfast show presenter. If you bother to look at the thread in question properly you will see that littlepieces took the comment in the spirit in which it was intended. But why let the facts get in the way....? |

This thread is turning into the sort we used to get on the old Radio 2 MB .
I haven't yet seen anything of Vintage TV, although at least a year ago I kept an article written by Gambo (in Saga Magazine ) and have been meaning to search it out. |

Shaky - the fact is you just can't stand anybody on here who happens to dislike the current breakfast presenter and it's quite obvious to me that you can't respect their opinions and will go to any length to have a go at them even if the topic has nothing whatsoever to do with the breakfast show
Going back to what I was saying earlier if you recall little pieces started a thread asking for help in selling his CDs and as I am a reasonable and helpful person I pointed him in the direction of Magpie which I hope might have helped him
What did you do on the same thread - criticised his use of the apostrophe offering no help whatsoever with the matter where help was needed
I think that in a nutshell just about sums up the difference between us _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yes Pat Sharp Top 10 and 10 is on a few days in the week. Tony Blackburn and David Diddy Hamilton used to present shows on there too. |
