In my view the law should have been amended to allow the police to declare a curfew in riot affected areas and then get the Army in using live bullets if necessary

There was far too much pussyfooting around and these idiots need to be given a proper short sharp shock - nothing better than a bullet up the backside to achieve that end Smile

I wonder whether the Met Police will be affected by the imminent hosepipe ban - knowing the way this country is going these days it really wouldn't surprise me Rolling Eyes
