Gets 20 weeks, but as he's served 23 weeks so he's freed. Justice? There is no justice although he will be unemployed it still doesn't make sense.

I was struck by the relative lightness of the sentence for what, on the face of it, looks like pretty vile behaviour. What message are the authorities trying to send?

Clearly he lied repeatedly, trying to blame others.

Does his sentence include time for lying in court and wasting police time?

And shouldn't he also be fined the extra costs that had to be paid to his lawyer?

Apparently she's been released after serving half her sentence. She be put in a secure location for her protection.
