I forgot all about this, and there is as yet no playlist. Did anyone listen, was it any good?

Not quite sure why you've posted that Shaky as it's identical to what is on R2's website which I had already read and why I posted the above message.

I wondered who it was on the radio the other night... I soon realised it was Ms Nightingale.
I can't comment really as I never did particularly like her style on Radio 1 back in the day. She sounded a little miserable to me in the little I heard though... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
I have heard how radio should be. |

I didn't like her much either but wondered what she was like nowadays.

I know fine well how to do that thank you Shaky, as I do it at least once a day, but I don't use the iPlayer page. I'm not in my dotage just yet!
I'm a bit short of time this week so I wanted to see a playlist first, as usually listener's request shows are a bit of a waste of time............same old already overplayed songs. Thought this could be different. Maybe a playlist will appear later, it has been known to happen!

...which is stretching things, skin mostly, even by the standards of the R2 webpages.
She hasn't looked like that for 40 years |

Just listened to this show and liked it!
No-nonsense presentation. No girly gabbling and gushing. No celebrities.
Interesting music, some new, some old, but all interesting.... this could be a show on 6Music! What are R2 playing at?
BTW, I take the point made earlier about request shows. I can't listen to Friday's drivetime. There's only so much Cher being played for someone who's stuck on the M5, or Tina Turner's Simply the Best for someone who's 'dancing around their kitchen', that a body can take. |

With this and Lionel Richie, the revolving pictures on the front of Radio 2's website on Monday looked like a remake of Spitting Image. |
