Well, I suppose if someone like her can engineer a situation where she figures in the list without there being any good reason for this then that in itself proves she must have some kind of influence over the sad people who bother to compile it

Depends what clothes she wears. If she starts visiting Primark every Monday then I am sure she would influence the sales at Primark everywhere
