Did I imagine it or was the same show broadcast two weeks in a row 22nd April and 29th April and it was about Percy Faith...

I heard neither GG so can't say, I was away for the first and I'm afraid I've given up on Sunday night's on Radio 2. That said I've got Tim Rice on just now but for how long I'm not sure!

Thanks both of you...

Fame at last Wink

I have discovered it is a series devoted to Percy Faith over three episodes. Tonight was the last one.

I like Sundays between 9pm and midnight but when I have broadband it will give me the chance to listen at another time if I wish.

Me too GG, it's the part of Radio 2 which really interests me. I'm enjoying the Sinatra programmes at 11pm but am so looking forward to the return of David Jacobs when he has, I hope, fully recovered.

Sunday(especially the evening)across a lot of the BBC stations local, National and in Wales, N.Ireland and Scotland offer similar fare and they clash so Listen Again will be handy, I am told radio listening online hardly makes a dent in internet useage.

I don't want to sit up all night but if I do the heavy stuff between Midnight-8am it does not interfere with my main package so that's good.

I can quite understand David wanting to keep his medical problems private but of course when information isn't easy to find it makes listeners more curious and in some ways worried.

Sadly, having lost Mum and cared for her, it brings it home even more about David and some of the oother presenters that have been on the station for years...like Desmond Carrington.

As I think I said elsewhere its funny how Mum talked of David and hoped he was alright and listened to his show every week and now she is unable to and will never know how or why he has been missing.

Mum always used to join with his "Hello There!" Smile

I may've bought a TV license but I will still put radio first and so far I still haven't watched it. But at 40p a day, I can live with that for now...what can you buy for 40p?
