Yes what an exciting final two minutes - a great end to an excellent season and well done to the blues who were the best team over the whole 9 months
Nice to see real Mancunians having something to celebrate rather than Man United fans most of whom are in London or the Far East and other assorted places with only a small proportion actually living in Manchester _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I don't follow football and didn't watch the match but have to say I'm delighted for Man City and the fans. |

Although I'm not a football fan in any way, I can appreciate how the last few minutes of the game must have been more than a bit nerve-wracking for City supporters. However, I've seen and heard enough about it now! |

Yes, I'm delighted for Man City and their fans. As Ruddles says, at least their fans are genuinely Mancunian, whereas United fans all come from the South East and beyond, as far as Thailand and Malaysia, most of whom have never been north of Watford.
How ironic that City won it in the last minute, which Fergie has relied on so often.
Congrats also to QPR who fought valiantly with ten men, thanks to that moron Barton. I wonder what will happen to him. This being football which lives on another planet, he'll get a token ban and a slap on the wrist. If I elbowed someone in the throat on a Saturday night in the pub, then kicked someone else and then headbutted a third person, I'd expect five years in jail. |

Without in any way taking anything away from the new Premier League Champions I think congratulations are also due to Newcastle for being the most improved team this season
Also to Norwich and Swansea for superb performances for two newly promoted clubs - and in particular the style they both brought to their brand of entertaining football - the first time for several years all three promoted clubs have survived - albeit only just in the case of QPR
And last but not least let's not forget Wigan and their talented young manager - wins against Man United, Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal and unlucky not to beat Chelsea - how on earth they achieved survival must be one of the unknown miracles of modern sport _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Loved watching the coverage of the celebrations in sunny Manchester tonight on local TV, with contributions from Joe Corrigan,(who looked huge) Tony Book and Mike Summerbee...one young City supporter said to camera "Fergie if you're watching we did it in "Fergie time"
There have been some great games, with unexpected results at times, this season.....less than a month to the Euros!. |

I watched the coverage on North West Tonight Becky - absolutely fantastic
I suppose as a Liverpool fan for Man City to win the League is the next best thing if my team can't win it
I gather Man United are rather unhappy that despite all their success they've never been offered the homecoming celebrations which we've seen for Manchester City tonight
But there again thinking about it, as most of their fans are in London or Tokyo or Thailand, would there really have been any point _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Bitter sweet day for me,I'm a spurs fan and would have been happy with 4th at start of season but to lose out to Arsenal on last day hurts.Agree about Pardew had a great season and is my manager of the season.Barton is a waste of space can't see QPR keeping him.As for Man City pleased for the fans but not the players suspect most of them are just there for the money.
Biggest loser of the year and has gone down in my estimation is Dalgleish who seems to blame everybody else but himself and his interviews are a disgrace.....now for some cricket _________________ I found out how you can hurt an insect. It's the bees knees |
