As this is the day for the musical luvvies to slap each other on the back, I thought I'd offer a an alternative:
The nominations for most annoying record on the radio:
Smile - Lily Allen
Grace Kelly - Mika _________________ Geddon

I still have to turn off 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse & 'Crazy' by Gnarls Barkley should I hear them on the radio. |

Grace Kelly, for sure.
Plus anything at all by The Feeling - who are sadly the most-played band on the radio. The world's gone mad |

Mika - Grace Kelly. No doubt he'll win Best Newcomer or something that'll ensure he's played ad nauseam on the radio for the rest of the year.
Anything by Lily Allen or Amy Winehouse (for some reason every time I see her on the telly, Amy reminds me of Chandler's girlfriend Janice from 'Friends'). _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Is it me or were they really scraping the barrel when it came to the nominees for Best British Male Solo Artist? |

What, best British single, Patience, mine is just wearing a little thin! There must be hundreds of better British singles than this, IMHO.
