Thanks for the reminder, Shaky. This promotion is featured on the Guardian's site too and I had forgotten about it. The Lennon and Stones files are winging their way towards my iTunes as I type!

PS: Why oh why does Audible and others use the term "For Free"? Isn't it just "Free"? We don't say "For Cheap" do we?

I agree Colin - it really irritates me when phrases are used like 'for free' or 'quite unique' or 'terribly good' Rolling Eyes

Almost as bad is when people talk about their 'PIN Number' when the phrase stands for 'Personal Identification Number' so they are effectively repeating themselves Laughing

As my old headmaster would say 'Such things am not quite English' Smile

Not interested in the books, but thanks for the tip anyway Shaky. Rare to see an Audible promotion that isn't simply "sign up and get the first one free" - because I've done that, and can't do it again!
