I understand that this pair will be entertaining us in the evenings on R2 as part of the Olympic schedule. She cannot stop talking and he talks drivel most of the time. Let us pray for good weather so I can spend the evenings away from the TV and radio !

Richard Bacon is the main reason i stopped tuning into R5 and as for Zoe i watched her on tv presenting the IOW festival which was just awful....moan over Twisted Evil

Correct. I wonder if the show will either be a Olympic Drivetime or start around 7pm?

I do agree with you. He's truly appalling - just right for today's Radio 2, in fact!

The way things are going I'll be switching off R2 very soon until well after the Olympics are over and done with. Thank goodness for internet radio!

I agree, Helen. It's only when you discover the huge variety of listening sources out there that you realise how bad Radio 2 has become. The whole station is stuck in a peculiar place - no thanks to a Controller who doesn't seem to have much of an idea about radio broadcasting.

There are still one or two little gems on the station - but they're few and far between and well hidden!
