Elton John and Pnau new single - Sad. Take a listen. I think it's more about the whole 'sound' rather than the song in this case.

It's not exactly new, Mark. I first heard it about a month ago.
Actually I think it's very good, certainly his best song for many years. His output in the 90s and 00s was utterly dire. |

The song is derived from "Curtains", which is the closing song of my favourite Elton John / Bernie Taupin album - "Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy" from the mid-70s. I can't think why it's been renamed in this mash-up to "Sad". I do like it, though. |
