We have been awfully quiet on here about this gem of a programme. Is anyone else enjoying it as much as I am?
The Olympic Deliverance Committee headed by delightful Ian Fletcher (Hugh Bonneville) is up to its collective armpits in management/PR speak, big ideas, confused thinking, mind-boggling problems with minimal solutions etc.
Last week an unknown person had managed to infiltrate the store of starting pistols and loaded one with live ammunition, resulting in Ian getting shot in the foot. He ends up in hospital and at the end of the episode his former PA, (lovelorn Sally) turns up and will no doubt return to her old practice of waiting on him hand and ... er ... foot.
It is all great fun but spookily close to reality. Penultimate epi tonight! |

I've completely missed out on it due to having little available TV viewing time, but I've seen snippets and have kept meaning to check it out. I really do like Hugh Bonneville, anyhow. I must catch up with it.... |

It's an absolute delight - in fact since it follows on from the equally good "Line of Duty" my Tuesday night viewing is a lot longer and very much better than usual. |

Don't know why, but this one has just passed me by as well.

Very uncomfortable last few minutes watching tonight of this excellent drama ....how will it all end?
Another fan of Twenty Twelve here, Eileen....wonderful cast 'delivering' a fine programme ..
London 2012 v Twenty Twelve: fact or fiction?
As the Olympics approach, reality and fiction blur with increasing regularity for the viewers of BBC2's Twenty Twelve, John Morton's scarily accurate comedy set in the offices of the London 2012 deliverance committee. So which are plotlines – and which actually happened?
