It's not a strange story, Mark, it's a non-story.
I don't understand the "banned" element of the story but then again I won't be giving give the Mail the benefit of another click-through to their web server, either. I'm disappointed that you read such rubbish!
Anyway, Evans has enough money - so what's the moan (assuming there was one to begin with). |

It's been all over Twitter, to be fair. Usually with the word "cheat" in the messages! |

It kinda proves that the idiot will do just about anything to get his gob and his silly voice featured in the media. |

Why are you disappointed that Mark is reading the Daily Mail then Colin?
Is it because they print things that you don't agree with?
I'm guessing you read The Guardian, as I always find in forums that people who read that are always extremely hostile towards anyone who doesn't share their views. |

I agree that it's pretty silly for anyone to get wound up about whatever the Daily Mail might write - all tabloid papers are equally bad and actually the Sun and some other Sunday papers are far worse
I do however think that this is a non story probably engineered by Evans for the reasons already mentioned - but the press is crammed full of 'non stories' these days so it's really no great surprise _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Would Chris Evans really want the world to know he's been banned for life from a golf tournament for being a cheat? Really? Bearing in mind his wife works in the golf business it would be an odd thing for him to make public. |

I personally am sick to death of seeing / hearing about Evans. He seems to be everywhere at present. He is the reason I don't watch The One Show on Fridays. I still can't understand why he usually gets an hour on Fridays while the infinately better Matt Baker only gets ˝ hour the rest of the week. Evans is the reason I haven't yet seen the aforementioned show this week, and also why I won't be listening to any of Radio 2's Olympic output, or anything else he's on. I want to enjoy the games without the splitting headache that Evans' ear piercing squawking gives me! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

It was said partly in jest, dearest Gaz. However, the Mail is an insidious rag and every click of Mark's link gives it higher status with Google and the like. We can't be having that!

See above.

I don't read any newspapers on a regular basis. I do subscribe to lots of diverse feeds, however.
Next question?

It all arises because the guy is an egotistical knob! |
