You can see that Mark has sneakily covered his tracks by editing his mistake with the result that your post now doesn't make sense, Ruddles! |

Mark,
Are you suggesting there is some plot against William's succession after Charles? _________________ -

You could always outwit him by quoting him. Then even if he edits the original it is still possible to se what was changed! |

I try and ignore, it might go away.
Obviously the girl had an option to snap these pictures for 10k. What stays in Vegas... should say in Vegas. He should know better and a total embarrassment to the country and Royal family. It's a great shame after being at the Olympics. |

I agree, it is very petty.
As for Harry I agree again, I honestly don't see what the problem is. |

Did I hear on the news that Harry was playing Dominos? Have they published the correct photos... where's the beers and the table... oh..and the dominos? The photos look more like some sort of knee trembling "upstairs" game to me but it's years since I've played dominos, perhaps like everything else the game has moved on a bit.
Oh! It's billiards... I see.....oh well.... there you go then...... easy mistake to make. Now it all makes sense. |

Well, perhaps they should be locked up in the Tower of London - now that would cramp his style quite a lot _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

The Sun Newspaper have decided to go with publishing the pictures. They say 'It's freedom of the press - what is the difference with them published on the internet and seen around the world, and can't be seen in a newspaper'!!... Those who complain are the ones who haven't got internet access. Some people do continue to think the Royals are blue blooded, but they are red blooded and human like everyone else. I think The Sun are right, but have rewritten the Leveson inquiry. |

How can The Sun "re-write the Leveson Inquiry"? |

The Sun claim that it's in the public interest for them to publish the pics and cite the need to discuss the shortcomings on the part of security officers that may have been a factor in this happening. Maybe the officers have some questions to answer but this could have been commented on without the pics being published. And, as for the low-life who sold them on......

It's hard to believe that there are some people who do not acknowledge that there is a right of privacy if someone is a member of the royal family.
I thought this argument was settled in a Paris underpass in 1997.
The Sun managing editor needs to lose his job immediately.
Very sad. |

Exactly Ian and Uncle Buck. You don't need pictures to discuss the lack of minders and what they should have been doing at the time. It will be interesting to know if the circulation figures were increased by the pictures.

The decision to publish the pics was taken much further up - Mr. Rupert "Don Corleone" Murdoch himself. Faced with being slammed by the Leveson Inquiry (whose report is to be published very soon) this is the Murdoch Mafia putting two fingers up to Leveson and the establishment.
If the people who actually paid for their copy of Sun today did so in increased numbers, then they must be pretty thick; the damage they're doing to all of us is potentially collossal.
I saw a car sticker the other day which read: "If you buy The Sun you're part of the problem". I like that! |

It's not as if the pictures were a secret. Obviously all phones were fully charged and the Prince was three sheets to the wind. Great sting if you know who to contact. Guessing anymore parties he ever does have, will be phone or camera free. |

Would a picture of Rupert Murdoch's private parts ...be in the public interest to see, upholding the freedom of the press, if published? Maybe Private Eye would dare publish them? |

Well you all know what I think of The Sun and the press generally - a load of ar--holes who would do virtually anything just so long as they get a 'good story'
The only good thing to come out of all this is that just maybe the rest of the press might end up being in dispute with The Sun and the Murdoch Empire generally so we might actually start to see other newspapers taking a more independent line on particular issues rather than blindly following the agenda set by Murdoch and his cronies
I have to laugh at the current comments from various people connected with our wonderful British media to the effect that Leverson has effectively emasculated them from publishing anything intrusive on the private lives of individuals
You have to ask yourself 'why did we have the Leveson enquiry?
Oh yes now I remember - it was as a result of press intrusion into the personal lives of many high profile people often by unlawful means
I'm reminded of the saying 'you reap what you sow' and it 's never more true than in the case of the British press _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
