Tonight on BBC Four at 9 ...I love Squeeze so am looking forward to this
Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford, the men behind Squeeze, have been called everything from the new Lennon and McCartney to the godfathers of Britpop. Now, 35 years after their first record, this documentary reappraises the songwriting genius of Difford and Tilbrook and shows why Squeeze hold a special place in British pop music....

Hopefully going to see them with Paul Heaton as support in Dec but £35 for a ticket is a bit cheeky if you ask me _________________ I found out how you can hurt an insect. It's the bees knees |

£35 to see the mighty Squeeze is a fair enough price. They always put on a great show, plus, it's great to see Chris and Glen back together again. Glenn is one of the finest guitarists and vocalists around, so what's not to like..? I see either Glenn, Chris or Squeeze at least once every year, as they always tour, due in no small measure to the fact that they had a lousy record deal in the early days, which meant that they only started making any money in 1988, with the release of Domino.
You'll have a great time, Pieces, should you decide to part with your hard earned. The boys give their all. My local heroes. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |

I've never seen Squeeze live, but I have seen Glenn Tilbrook, both with 'The Fluffers', and solo, doing an accoustic set. They were all great evenings entertainment. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I saw them when believe it or not they were the supporting act for Bryan Adams, thought they were better than the main event! |

They're here on 5th December - there are quite a lot of seats still available, but at the back or in the gods where the acoustics are a bit iffy. Paul Heaton's name as support has suddenly disappeared - his own website says his tour of Australia has been cancelled due to illness, although the UK dates are still shown.
I liked Squeeze, although I think the BBC's blurb is a bit far-fetched. _________________ Ron |

If you watched this programme, ( and the concert that was on later) littlepieces, I would be a little surprised if you didn't hasten out of your door to purchase a ticket without even giving the price of it a second thought...they really are special
Great programme this with lots of honesty in it ..I love both Glenn and Chris but I'm a little in love with Chris |

The Beeb, over hyping..? Whatever next.
First class docu...personally, I was a happy bunny, to see Glenn pay homage to Some Fantastic Place, as well as being chuffed to see them recognised as
"songwriting geniuses". Just maybe not in the Lennon/McCartney class...but then, who is, apart from His Bobness ? _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |
