Rio and Anton Ferdinand amongst other black players refused to wear " Kick it out" T-Shirts in protest about nothing done to stop racism in Football. Although Racism in unacceptable in football they need to do this in a better way. Although usually this type campaign does tell a message, and something is done. |

Two overpaid idiots like most of their Premier League colleagues who should grow up and learn to appreciate just how lucky they are instead of constantly whinging and whining about just about everything ranging from alleged racism to certain referreeing decisions which they don't like
If they don't like being paid millions to turn up on a football pitch for nine months of the year there are plenty of other jobs open to them _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles?

What many people don't realise is that in this country there is in fact not much racism in football. One vile insult from John Terry to Anton Ferdinand a year ago doesn't mean the game is racist. Half the players in the Premiership are black so I can't see much racism there.
Go to games in Eastern Europe or even Spain and Italy if you want to experience racism.
The problem is that the spineless FA and the useless players union WANT racism to exist as it gives them something to do and it ensures more funding. And it's easy to talk about and politically correct to criticise racism even when there's no substance to the criticism.
The game is played by morons, watched by morons and managed by morons and talked about by morons. But we have the best football league in the world in terms of excitement, wealth and success. And it is not racist. |

I totally agree with every word , Schizzo. There was a good little debate going on Five Live earlier. This rubbish has gone on so long, that it's overshadowing the season.
And what a lot of people don't seem to grasp about Fergie, is that he is a committed socialist, comes from Govan and a very strong trade union background. That's why he was so annoyed with Rio Ferdinand. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |

Exactly, raver. I don't suppose Fergie's views go down too well in the wealthier part of Cheshire where he lives! |

I know they are all clowns doing this. They are trying to kick out racism for a good reason, but not doing it the right way. They are not Martin Luther king. |

As former England keeper David James says in the article, there are too many busybodies in the game. |

The latest joke is the current proposal for black footballers to have their own separate players union which presumably will be comprised only of black members
Hang on a minute - isn't that against the laws of this country - or will the powers that be find some way of justifying it as they generally do for virtually every minority group in Britain
Just think what the reaction would be if there was a proposal to set up a white only players union - it's members probably would all be labelled as faschists and linked to the BNP _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Even if it be called the Black Players' Union they would allow non-black players to join; anyone could make a contribution to the running of the union and provide opinion and advice for policy etc.
There's already a Society of Black Lawyers and a Black Police Association. These organisations are set up in areas where better focus is needed to combat discrimination in normal operations. _________________ -
