I had a feeling Lynn would take it as she's a well known National Radio voice. Kids must have grown up nicely now. Nice to see David Prever to get Weekend Mid Mornings. I wonder who will cover for Simon Bates now?

She thoroughly deserves it but it will give me rather a dilemma as long as Ken Bruce survives on Radio 2

Radio 2 should have had the good sense to give Lynn the early breakfast show when it became available but I suppose we've got to the point where few of us on here credit Bob Shennan with any common sense Sad

Indeed or even better the other later breakfast show instead of that wretched children's entertainer. Lynn would be far easier on the ear! No, I couldn't credit Bob Shennan with any common sense either, seeing as how he's just unceremoneously dumped Mike Harding from the folk show! For what reason? I've nothing whatever against Mark Radcliffe who has been given the show and I won't question Mark's knowledge of folk music against Mike's, It's probably far superior to my own! But I just cannot see why Mike Harding has been axed from the show.
