Every Tuesday, starting today, Stuart Maconie looks at the final album of a band and talks to the people involved. This morning it was "Synchronicity" by The Police - I don't know the album and I'm not a huge fan of the band but it was fun to hear the stories and comments. Well worth a listen.
Next week it's " The Holy Bible" by Manic Street Preachers |

Synchronicity is my favourite Police album, or it might be Ghost In The Machine.
I preferred their later stuff. |

It was on Radio 4 at 11.30a.m. today. I thought it was very interesting and enjoyed hearing Stuart Maconie presenting - excellent. |

Whoops! Should have said the station - apologies.
Yes, it was Radio 4. I think Radio 2 should be doing more stuff like this, I think we can take it! |
