I would think he was waiting until he's finished recording his Wogan now and then programs before he scoots off somewhere.
Having said that I'm quite surprised he hasn't taken any time off before now. Without meaning to sound rude at all I would think a man of Terry's age would have to be careful he dosen't take on too much.

I'm glad they have chosen Johnnie to sit in, I like him I'm sure Mr Allinson is a nice enough chap but I just couldn't take to him.
