Clive Dunn famous for playing Corporal Jones in Dads Army has died at the age of 92. He was also famous for the song Grandad.

I remember him being in the very first pantomime I was taken to at the age of five. It was Jack and the Beanstalk at the long-gone Chiswick Empire and he was very acrobatic in a supporting role with floppy blonde hair.

Early childhood impressions made an impact in those pre-TV days!

Well - I suppose he had a long innings and he'd be the first to say 'Don't Panic' Smile

Nevertheless he will be sadly missed - a great comedy actor who brought a lot of fun and enjoyment to a great many people
