Larry Hagman who played JR Ewing in Dallas has died at the age of 81. Very sad news as he did a number of UK interviews when Dallas returned recently.

Sad news. He was a character both on and off screen.

I wonder how they will do the 2nd series of the new Dallas now?

Yes,this is sad news ..what a splendid 'baddie' he was ...in many ways he was Dallas and I can't see it carrying on without him...

That is so sad. He was magnetic in every Dallas scene he was in. Apparently he had completed six of the fifteen episodes for series two of the new Dallas. He certainly made JR one of the most unforgettable characters on TV.
