Just before Christmas ( for those of you not on FB) I did one of those on line food shop things, from mouse to house. I ordered ( well I thought I did) six loose tomatoes.... nope - when the truck arrived with 6Kg of tomatoes, I thought there must have been a mistake but no I'd ordered ( amongst other stuff) 6Kg of tomatoes. The pile was massive! 94 tomatoes to be exact. We piled them up like those posh chocolate things... Ambassedor you're spoiling us.....We've managed to munch our way through 3Kg, I gave 2Kg away ( thanks for the biscuits- have some tomatoes!), so there's one bag left. Phew.

The downside of online/automated shopping - no-one to query the quantity ordered as being unusual.

Tomato chutney.... tomato soup... tomato honey.....
You can have too much of a good thing though.
