His very proper voice will be much missed from the TMS box.
CMJ's 'Aggers & Johnners' moment ....
Cricket commentator Christopher Martin-Jenkins uses a fishing analogy and finds himself caught in a moment reminiscent of the Brian Johnston classic.

Brilliant clip, thanks for posting it.
I think it sounds so funny because it was said in all innocence. |

Yes, RIP Tony. Today's cricketers owe so much to him. I loved watching him play. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |

Listened to a lovely feature on TMS lunchtime today on the first day of the 1st Test between England and New Zealand at Lords.
It was Jonathan Agnew remembering Christopher Martin Jenkins with snippets from his memorial service.
Not sure if the Listen Again facility is available for this but it's well worth it if it is
Afterwards Aggers announced the creation of two ‘Spirit of Cricket’ awards in memory of Christopher, the former MCC President and BBC Test Match Special Commentator who died this year.

I listened too (Thank God TMS is back!).
It was very sad but very well done.
Aggers mentioned at the close of play (rain stopped play, England 160-4) that it was available as a podcast. It's on the TMS page now....
