Not the lover of the Russian Queen according to this interesting edition of Great Lives on Radio 4 with Matthew Parris and Richard Herring, who put him forward for the programme...

Yes, interesting show - wish it could have gone to more depth (although I suppose I'll have to wait for Richard's sitcom to get commissioned or he revives his old Edfringe show)
