Sometimes I think our house must be bugged or my life is like the Trueman Show... hubby and I were talking about God just the other day, I asked him ... are all the Gods the same one?
I then went on to tell him about an interweb book I'd just finished reading called Aliens in the Bible....- he threw a cushion at me....
I didn't really get a good answer on the God thing. |

As a spititualist I'm not really convinced that God is anything like the image the leaders of these great religions present to us
I believe in the afterlife but that these religions have hijacked what is a perfectly rational phenomenon and that most if not all things which happen in our world are dictated by decisions made in the spirit world
I think that Hell is the spirit world equivalent of our top security prisons and that 'God' is probably a kind of Chief Executive who chairs the most senior committee in the spirit world which effectively controls what happens here during our earthly lifetimes
When I reach the spirit world - that is assuming I do and don't become a ghostly apparition wandering the earth here - I'm going to try to get myself elected to that committee - because there's quite a few things here I'd like to get sorted out
